12 IPS officers transferred in Uttar Pradesh

The Uttar Pradesh government today transferred 12 IPS officers,district police chiefs; major names include DIG Amitabh Yash among others.

12 IPS officers transferred in Uttar Pradesh
LUCKNOW: The Uttar Pradesh government today transferred 12 IPS officers, including district police chiefs.

Deputy Inspector General (Chitrakoot Range) Amitabh Yash has been attached to the DGP office in Lucknow. DIG (Telecom) Mohit Agarwal has been posted in place of Amitabh, a spokesman of the Home Department said here.

SP (Sonbhadra) Ram Bahadur has been shifted to SIT, while SP (Ambedkar Nagar) Satya Bhushan Pathak has been transferred to PTC (Sitapur) in the same capacity.

SP (Amroha) Subhash Singh Baghel has been attached with the DGP office and ASP (Moradabad) Anil Kumar Singh has been posted in his place, the spokesman said.

SP (Banda) Amit Verma has been sent to the Food Cell. SP (Chitrakoot) Kiran S has been shifted to Ambedkar Nagar.

ASP (Fatehpur) Santosh Kumar Singh has been posted as SP (Badaun). ASP (Lucknow) Saumitra Yadav has been transferred as SP (Sultanpur).

ASP (Shahjahanpur) Shiv Shanker Yadav has been posted as SP (Sonbhadra).

ASP (Banda) Swami Prasad has been posted as SP (Chitrakoot), he said.
