Police said no untoward incident was reported from any part of the city.
Motorcycle-borne miscreants attacked the newspaper office at the Palace Compound on May 19 and stabbed to death the office manager, a proof reader and a driver.
Leader of the Opposition Ratan Lal Nath, belonging to the Congress, said that the killing proved that journalists and newspaper employees were not safe in the state.
