11 IPS officers trasferred in UP
In a reshuffle after the recent changes in the state police at senior level, the Uttar Pradesh government today transferred 11 IPS officers, promoting two to the rank of Deputy Inspector General.

LUCKNOW: In a reshuffle after the recent changes in the state police at senior level, the Uttar Pradesh government today transferred 11 IPS officers, promoting two to the rank of Deputy Inspector General.
Tarun Gaba, Commandant 35th battalion PAC Lucknow has been made Superintendent of Police Rae Bareli, replacing B P Tripathi who has been promoted and made DIG Faizabad range, official sources said on Tuesday.
Tripathi would replace Abhay Kumar Prasad who has been made DIG of Devipatan range, Gonda.
Y K Pachauri, DIG Techincal services, Lucknow has been given additional charge of DIG (Telecom).
Commandant 64th battalion PAC, Meerut, Sanjay Singhal has been made SSP Muzaffarnagar replacing Ajay Anand, who has been promoted and posted in Varanasi as DIG STF.
Commandant 24th battalion PAC Moradabad, Naveen Arora has been shifted as SP Training and security Lucknow.
SP Vigilance Harish Chandra Pandey has been made Commandant 9th battalion PAC Moradabad along with additional charge of Commandant 24th battalion PAC, Moradabad.
SP Police Training School, Gorakhpur Aparna HS has been made Commandant 23rd battalion PAC Moradabad while SP ATC Sitapur Mukesh Shukla has been sent to Lucknow as SP Human Rights.
Commandant 32rd battalion PAC, Lucknow Jyoti Narayan has been given additional charge as Commandant 35th battalion PAC, Lucknow, they said.
Recently, three senior police officials, who were involved in the Aarushi murder probe, were transferred. The officials were Meerut Zone IG Gurdarshan Singh, DIG P C Meena and Gautam Buddha Nagar Noida SSP A Satish Ganesh.
