103 more test positive for swine flu in Delhi
Swab tests of 103 people tested positive on Thursday for swine flu, raising the total number of cases in the city to 1,589.
"Of the 103 that tested positive, 71 cases identified are that of children. Total admitted till now in all designated hospitals are 1,589 of which 1,402 patients have been treated and discharged," Delhi health minister Kiran Walia said.
At present, 187 cases are under treatment at various hospitals including some who have been advised home quarantine," he said.
Walia further said that the situation is under control and the government is doing its best in providing treatment to H1N1 patients in government hospitals.
She also said that seven deaths due to swine flu were reported in the city as cases that were admitted from NCR region are not to be counted now.
