1,000 delegates may attend Mohan Bhagwat’s talk
Around 1,000 delegates are likely to be invited for RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat's lecture three-day lecture series in the capital.

The RSS is organising a first of its kind lecture series by Bhagwat from September 17 to September 19. The event titled “Future of Bharat: An RSS perspective,” will see Bhagwat addressing and interacting with a select audience comprising prominent citizens from politics, religion, judiciary, art, academia, social and cultural fields, education, diplomacy and security.
"We are open to calling people from different religions. We don't want to exclude anyone. These lectures will demystify a lot of myths about the RSS," a senior leader of the RSS said.
According to those working on a tentative schedule for the programme, on the first two days, Bhagwat will focus on explaining the Sangh's understanding of Hindutva, its functioning and operations and present its views on a range of contemporary issues.
A senior leader in the RSS said Bhagwat was most keen on explaining the organisation's position on why it insists that Hindutva is the unifying force of India, despite all its diversities and differences. "The contemporary issues that he wants to address can range from nationalism, state of women, caste, Jammu & Kashmir and need for corrections such as National Register for Citizens," he said.
On the third day, the RSS chief will take questions from the audience for over an hour.
