Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath recently found himself in the eye of a social media storm after shutting down a troll who targeted him for engaging with popular vlogger Nas Daily. This incident followed the resignation of Binance's chief Changpeng Zhao (CZ), who pleaded guilty to breaching US anti-money laundering laws.

Netizens were quick to draw connections between Nas Daily and crypto leaders like Zhao and FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried, both facing controversies. A user, Manan Gandhi, taunted Kamath by posting a picture of him with Nas during a NAS Summit, linking it to the fallen crypto figures.

Kamath's response, however, surprised many as he countered with a photo of Microsoft's Bill Gates alongside Nas, suggesting a positive association despite Nas's presence with others embroiled in controversy. This unexpected reply sparked varied reactions among netizens, with some expressing disbelief and amusement at Kamath's direct engagement with the troll.

The episode unveiled a previous encounter between Gates and the Zerodha co-founders during Gates's visit to India in March. Kamath shared a picture of their meeting, describing it as a breakfast rendezvous with the tech luminary, highlighting a positive connection distinct from the Nas-related controversies.

Adding to Kamath's engagements, in June, he joined 'The Giving Pledge,' a commitment initiated by Warren Buffett, Melinda French Gates, and Bill Gates in 2010, indicating his intent to contribute his wealth towards philanthropic causes.
