Yuvraj Singh, Hazel Keech announce name of their baby boy on Father's Day

On Sunday, on the special occasion of Father's Day, former star cricketer Yuvraj Singh and his wife Hazel Keech revealed their son's name on social media along with two beautiful photos. They have named their child Orion Keech Singh.

Orion Keech Singh is the couple’s first child.

The couple had welcomed their first child in January this year. They, however, had decided against sharing his photos on social media and had not made his name public so far.


Yuvraj shared two photos of his child on his Twitter handle and tweeted, "Welcome to the world Orion Keech Singh. Mummy and Daddy love their little puttar. Your eyes twinkle with every smile just as your name is written amongst the stars."

The former Team India star said that they named their child after Orion, the constellation of stars. It was his decision to keep the last name of his wife in their son's name. "Orion is a star constellation and for parents, your kid is your star. When Hazel was pregnant, and sleeping in the hospital, I was watching some episodes where the name came to me and Hazel took an instant liking to it. I wanted Hazel’s last name also to come in the baby’s name, so that’s how it came about."

Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech got married on 30th November, 2016. Their’s was a traditonal Anand Karaj ceremony which took place at the Fatehgarh Sahib Gurdwara. Hazel Keech had appeared in a number of Bollywood movies including Salman Khan’s 'Bodyguard' which also starred Kareena Kapoor Khan.

Yuvraj Singh announced his retirement from Indian cricket in 2019.
