Lava, the Indian company, has introduced the Yuva 2 Pro, a new low-cost smartphone, in India.

Priced at Rs. 7,999, the smartphone is available now at retail stores of Lava and the renowned e-commerce websites of the country.

The new smartphone was introduced in collaboration with the Edtech platform Doubtnut. As part of the collaboration, a complimentary subscription to Doubtnut's course materials for kids in grades 9 through 12 will be included with the smartphone. Otherwise, the subscription to Doubtnut originally cost more than Rs. 12,000 per year.


The Indian smartphone manufacturer also disclosed that it will provide consumers with "free service at home."

Specifications of Lava Yuva 2 Pro

Yuva 2 Pro of Lava comes up with 64GB of internal storage and 4GB of RAM and supports an extra 3GB of virtual Memory. It is available in three colors: Glass White, Glass Lavender, and Glass Green.

The smartphone has a 6.5-inch HD+ Notch display and an octa-core MediaTek Helio G37 chipset. Additionally, it runs on Android 12 and offers a promised upgrade to Android 13. It also comes with two years of security updates.

Speaking about its camera specifications, the Lava Yuva 2 Pro provides a triple-back camera system with a 13-megapixel main camera. The phone has a 5-megapixel front camera for taking selfies and making video calls. The phone's camera also has a number of additional capabilities, including HDR, Beauty, AI, Night, Portrait, Slow Motion, Pro, Panorama, GIF, Timelapse, Filters, and Intelligent Scanning.

With compatibility for a Type-C charging connector, the Lava Yuva 2 Pro's 5000 mAh battery provides a long-lasting experience.
