There are problems for certain YouTube viewers. There have been reports of problems with the YouTube website, app, and uploading process. On Monday at 1:30 PM, the number of reports of problems on the DownDetector app increased, and by 3:15 PM, they had peaked.

This follows a significant worldwide outage of Microsoft and its services on Friday due to an update to the Crowdstrike application.

According to the website, among users who reported troubles, 43% had problems with the app, 33% had difficulties uploading videos, and 23% had problems with the YouTube website.


YouTube outages have been reported from major locations, such as New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Bengaluru, according to Downdetector. According to Team YouTube, an investigation is being conducted. Users in Australia, the UK, and the US are also reporting instances of YouTube outages, according to outage tracker Downdetector.

The nature of the problem is unknown at this time. Most likely, this is a minor bug that will be fixed shortly.
