Garena has warned that any violations—particularly the use of modified or unofficial game versions—may lead to a permanent account ban.
Garena has launched the OB50 update for Free Fire, bringing a host of new features and gameplay enhancements. However, alongside these additions, the company has also implemented stricter community guidelines. Emphasizing fair play, Garena has warned that any violations—particularly the use of modified or unofficial game versions—may lead to a permanent account ban.

Unofficial game clients refer to altered versions of the original Free Fire app. These are typically circulated through unverified platforms that claim to offer unfair advantages such as aimbots or auto-headshot capabilities, unlimited in-game currency like diamonds and coins, wallhacks that reveal enemy locations, and speed or no-recoil hacks. Using these versions not only violates Free Fire’s Terms of Service but also exposes users to significant security threats.

Modified APKs carry high risks. Players caught using them can face immediate account suspension. These unofficial apps often come bundled with malware, threatening personal data and device security. Additionally, they disrupt the integrity of gameplay and can negatively affect server performance for all players.

To avoid these dangers, Garena urges players to download Free Fire only through official platforms like the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Installing the game from unauthorized sources can put both accounts and devices at risk. Players are also encouraged to report any suspicious behavior using the in-game system and to keep their login details secure by avoiding third-party logins or sharing credentials.

Currently, two major events are underway in Free Fire. The Free Fire MAX x Naruto collaboration returns with Chapter 2: Ninja War, while registrations for the Free Fire MAX India Cup 2025 (FFMIC) officially began on July 7. Players are encouraged to enjoy these events while adhering to the rules and maintaining a fair and secure gaming environment.
