'You romanticise life abroad, but…’: Indian woman in Sweden says life in India is "more convenient" than Europe

An Indian woman living in Sweden has sparked an online discussion after sharing a video about how life in India is "more convenient" compared to Europe. The video, which has now gone viral, questions whether relocating to a foreign country truly offers a better life or if the idea is just a romanticised dream.

In the video, the woman shares her personal experiences, highlighting everyday conveniences in India that she misses while living in Sweden. She mentions how her friend in India can get groceries delivered within minutes, whereas she has to walk more than 10 minutes just to reach the nearest bus stop for shopping.

She also points out the difference in medical accessibility. In India, medicines can be delivered to your doorstep, while in Sweden, pharmacies close early in the evening, making it difficult to get urgent supplies.



She further adds, "A lot of these small things are not talked about enough, so you kind of romanticise this idea of living abroad just from what you see on social media, which is very misleading." Despite her observations, she clarifies in the caption that she still loves living in Sweden.
