RR vs SRH turned into a high-scoring blockbuster as Rajasthan Royals piled up a huge total after being asked to bat first. Rajasthan got off to a flying start, with Vaibhav Sooryavanshi taking charge early. Sooryavanshi also made headlines by breaking the record for the most sixes in an IPL season, going past Chris Gayle’s long-standing mark of 59 sixes.

Dhruv Jurel then took over the charge, smashing 17 runs off Cummins in an over. He brought up a quickfire fifty in just 20 balls during the 14th over, before falling the very next ball for a 21-ball 50 (5 fours, 3 sixes).

Riyan Parag added a quick 26 off 12 balls before falling to Praful Hinge, who kept picking wickets at regular intervals.RR eventually lost wickets in clusters towards the end — Donovan Ferreira (12), Dasun Shanaka (5), Jofra Archer (4), Nandre Burger (1) — while Ravindra Jadeja remained unbeaten on 12.
