Yash’s KGF to have 5 sequels: Star actor to play a cameo in Prabhas’ Salaar

KGF will likely have five sequels while the third instalment of the franchise will hit theatres in 2025, as suggested by various reports.

KGF 2 starring Yash turned out to be one of the year's biggest blockbusters. The Prashanth Neel-directed film grossed over Rs 1250 crore at the box office.



Hombale Films, the Yash starter's production house, reportedly wants to develop KGF into a Bond-style series, but with different actors. Vijay Kirgandur, the production house's founder, revealed in a publication that they would be making five sequels to KGF, each with a different hero. It appears that Yash will not be appearing in KGF: Chapter 3. But there has been no official confirmation of this.


Apart from KGF's five sequels, the report suggests that Yash will play an important role in Prabhas' Kannada debut film, Salaar, directed by Prashanth Neel. Surprisingly, Prashanth wishes to establish a link between KGF and Salaar. Following the release of Salaar, Prashanth Neel will begin work on KGF 3 in 2025, with a target release date of 2026. The director is also working on a film with Jr NTR.
