Samantha Ruth Prabhu plays the title role of Yashoda in the film that will hit theatres on November 11. The film trailer is now out in 5 languages - Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. Samantha shared the trailer on her Twitter handle and said she was frightened when she first heard the background story. She hopes the fans will flock to the theatres to watch the film and experience the fright she got while doing it.
The trailer shows Samantha as a submissive character at the beginning, but the last few shots show her fighting and kicking her adversaries.
Hari-Harish directs the film, a filmmaker duo who talks about the plight of surrogate mothers, all the more due to money being involved. Yashoda walks into a vast building, a substantial corporate running the establishment. Yashoda is perhaps a plant by the police who want to stop this illegal business. Yashoda's story is about how she enters and confronts her adversaries, which also shows her fighting corrupt cops. She, too, is beaten up several times, and her face is shown full of bruises.
