The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has already released MIUI 14 in China, and it has been confirmed that the same version will be released in India, along with some exclusive features for the Indian market.
MIUI 14 is based on Android 13 and has ultra-small firmware and fewer pre-installed applications that cannot be uninstalled. In the latest version of its user interface, Xiaomi has also added application cleaning and improved notification management.
MIUI 14 features a smooth flow of information and an enhanced power-saving mode, in addition to improved notification management and application cleaning. The new user interface will also be more personalised and visually appealing.
Xiaomi has also announced that its Xiaomi 13 Pro smartphone will be released in India next week, with the event broadcast live on the company’s official website and social media channels.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro has already been released in China, and it is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and up to 16GB of RAM. The smartphone, which runs on Android 13, has a 50MP triple rear camera setup. It is also water and dust resistant, with an IP68 rating, and is powered by a 4,820 mAh battery that supports 120W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.
