Chinese smartphone maker, Redmi has revealed the upcoming launch of a new Note series smartphone. Xiaomi confirmed this in a post on Chinese social media network, Weibo. As per the post, Xiaomi is all set to launch Redmi Note 12 series this month in China.

As per news reports, the latest lineup will include three Redmi Note models – Note 12, Note 12 Pro, and Note 12 Pro+.


The Chinese smartphone brand will unveil this flagship series sometime in the October-end. However, the post on Weibo doesn’t mention any exact date and time.

As per earlier leaks, the upcoming Redmi Note 12 series will be available with the 6nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1080. The latest chipset of MediaTek paired with an ARM Mali-G68 GPO can support a 200 MP primary camera sensor. Rumours have rife that the Redmi Note 12 series will have ARM Cortex-A78 CPU cores operating at the highest speed of 2.6GHz. All handsets of these three models will be 5G-enabled.

Moreover, a new 3C listing indicated that the Redmi Note 12Pro+, Note 12 Pro, and vanilla Note 12 will support 210W, 120W, and 67W fast charging support, respectively.
