MP Aids Control portal hacked
According to an MPSACS official, the organisation’s former .org domain expired after the developer contract ended. Although a new domain — mpsacs.in — has since been registered, the old address fell outside the GOV.IN framework and was not renewed, allowing unauthorised parties to take control of it, the TOI report said. The fraudulent posts now appearing there mimic official recruitment notices, misleading citizens into thinking they are interacting with a legitimate government portal.

World Aids Day 2025: Theme
World AIDS Day is observed on December 1 every year to raise awareness about the HIV/AIDS epidemic. The theme for 2025 is ‘Overcoming disruption, transforming the AIDS response’.It emphasises the need to not only preserve past progress but transform HIV services to make them more resilient, equitable, and community-led. This theme highlights the urgency of addressing disruptions caused by pandemics, conflicts, and inequalities that limit access to care. India marks World AIDS Day each year through nationwide awareness campaigns, community outreach activities, and renewed government commitments led by the National AIDS Control Organization (NACO) under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, according to PIB.
World AIDS Day was first observed in 1988. However, at that time the HIV was still mysterious and not much was known about it. HIV was highly feared and was often spoken about in whispers because of the stigma it was surrounded by. According to National AIDS trust, in the UK alone there are more than 105,000 people living with HIV and globally, it is estimated that about 38 million people live with this deadly virus.
