Rs 50,000 salary to Rs 2.28 lakh revenue: Woman shares earnings after quitting Zomato
In an Instagram video titled “Replaced Zomato's Rs 50k monthly salary with 4 income streams,” the woman, who identifies herself as Varsha, shared a breakdown of her September earnings. She said her previous job paid her Rs 50,000 a month and described September as a relatively slow month compared with July and August.
“I quit my perfect job at Zomato five months back, and here's how exactly I replaced my Rs 50,000 monthly salary with my four different income streams in September,” Varsha said in the video.

Tech UGC accounts for the largest share
According to Varsha, technology-focused UGC was her biggest source of revenue in September, bringing in Rs 1,00,900. She said the amount was lower than what she had earned from the same activity in July and August.Her second-largest source was brand partnerships featured on her social media page. These collaborations generated Rs 86,000, although she said Rs 66,000 of that amount had yet to be credited to her bank account.
Coaching and remote sales add to earnings
Varsha said she earned approximately Rs 36,242 through one-on-one sessions in which she taught people how to generate six-figure earnings through technology UGC.Her fourth income stream was remote sales, which she said was still contributing a relatively small amount. The activity generated around Rs 5,744 in September.
Combining the four streams, Varsha put her total September revenue at Rs 2,28,892.

Varsha describes September as a slower month
Despite the total exceeding her former monthly salary, Varsha said her September earnings were below the levels she had achieved in July and August. She described the month as a downturn and said she hoped to increase her earnings again in October.Her account outlines how she has combined content creation, brand collaborations, coaching and remote sales after leaving her corporate job. However, the figures were shared by Varsha herself in the Instagram video and have not been independently verified.
