A young tech professional has won hearts online after sharing a touching video of taking her parents to her workplace, Google’s Bengaluru office. The simple yet emotional moment quickly turned into a viral story, reminding many people of why they work so hard in the first place.
Dipinty, a cloud engineer at Google and originally from Kathmandu, Nepal, posted the video on Instagram. In it, she is seen welcoming her parents at the entrance of the sprawling campus and giving them a tour of the place she calls her second home.
A proud daughter, a prouder family
The clip captures several candid and wholesome moments.Dipinty walks her parents through the colourful office spaces, explaining different areas and encouraging them to explore freely. Her mother is seen strolling through the greenery, taking in the surroundings with quiet joy, while her father excitedly clicks photos of the campus, clearly wanting to capture every memory.
Sharing the video, Dipinty wrote, “Nepali daughter takes her parents to Google’s office in Bengaluru, letting them relive their childhood and feel relieved that their daughter is taken good care of by Google.”
Fun, food and family time
The tour wasn’t just about showing them office desks and meeting rooms. The parents were also seen enjoying the gaming zone, trying out activities and laughing together. The family later shared a meal at the office cafeteria, turning the visit into a full day of bonding.
Social media reacts with love
As the video went viral, users flooded the comments section with emotional messages.Another added, “This is my dream too. I want to give my mother every happiness in the world.”
Many called it a reminder to never forget the sacrifices parents make while supporting their children’s ambitions.
Inside Google’s Bengaluru campus
The visit also offered a glimpse into Google’s massive Bengaluru office, which spans around 1.6 million square feet.Inaugurated in February 2025, the campus follows a city-grid layout with team-based neighbourhoods and an amphitheatre-style space called ‘Sabha’ for gatherings. Inspired by Bengaluru’s greenery, the office features landscaped areas, walking and jogging paths, and even an ‘Aranya’ forest that acts as a natural noise barrier.
Built using locally sourced materials, the workspace blends modern design with nature, creating a relaxed environment for employees.
But for Dipinty and her parents, it wasn’t the architecture that mattered most, it was simply being together.
And sometimes, that’s what success really looks like.
