Why is Ishaan Khatter so picky?

In a recent interview, when asked about being selective in choosing projects, the actor said he started with two films released in 2018. He added that he was discovering himself as a performer. The actor mentioned setting high standards for himself and wanting to grow as an actor.


The Dhadak star added that initially, he was a little overwhelmed with the offers and wanted to pace his life so that he doesn't get carried away and choose everything that came his way. He wants to pick films that give him value for the rest of his life.

While speaking about his upcoming release, Phone Bhoot, Ishaan said he wanted to challenge himself as an actor and picked up the comedy genre, which he was yet to explore. He mentioned creating new opportunities by selecting films of different genres.

Ishaan will next appear in the war-drama Pippa, a story based on the India-Pakistan war of 1971. The film stars Mrunal Thakur, Soni Razdan, and Priyanshu Painyuli. The teaser was released on Independence Day this year, and the film will likely be released by the end of December.
