“Happy Patel” has become a trending search on Google after Aamir Khan Productions released a promotional video for its upcoming project Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos. The clip features Sunil Grover in the lead role, alongside Aamir Khan, and has quickly grabbed attention online for its absurd, laugh-out-loud premise.

What Happens in the Viral Video

The promotional clip opens in complete chaos, with Aamir Khan being forcibly escorted out of his own office by security guards. The scene then flashes back to reveal how the bizarre misunderstanding began.

Filmmaker Vir Das, who is making his directorial debut with Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos under Aamir Khan Productions, enters the office to discuss the project. Inside, he is greeted by Sunil Grover — dressed exactly like Aamir Khan and fully immersed in character.

Grover confidently introduces himself as Aamir, momentarily convincing Vir Das. In a hilarious exchange, Grover hands him a generous bonus cheque and confidently predicts the film’s success, declaring: “It is my experience. If the film isn't a super hit, then my name is not Aamir Khan. It will get an Oscar. Take the sequel's cheque.”

Mistaken Identity Takes Over

The confusion peaks when the real Aamir Khan walks in and tries to take charge. However, when Vir Das continues addressing Sunil Grover as “Aamir,” the actual superstar loses his patience and calls in security.

In a comic twist, Sunil cleverly distracts the guards by offering them hefty cheques. The plan works — and instead of escorting Grover out, the guards end up dragging the real Aamir Khan out of his own office, much to everyone’s amusement.

Sunil Grover’s portrayal has further amplified the buzz, especially following his recent Aamir Khan mimicry on The Kapil Sharma Show, which had viewers stunned. His imitation was so spot-on that many social media users called it “bigger than AI,” with some claiming he had “left AI behind.”
