Yuvraj Dua is a video creator who has been creating content on social media for over three years and enjoys a strong following with his content revolving around youngsters and Delhi-related subjects.


According to Forbes India, Yuvraj Dua is a comedy content creator on Instagram who started his career as a sports journalist. During the pandemic, he revived a dormant meme page he had created during his school days, and started posting comedy videos. Dua's biggest project has been as a dialect coach, to help actor Ranveer Singh with his character Rocky Randhawa in the movie Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday took note of a request made by social media influencer Yuvraj Dua and shared his Instagram reel, reiterating the importance of healthy living while urging people to reduce sugar intake and adopt a healthy lifestyle.

Prime Minister Modi reshared Dua’s reel on his Instagram story after the online creator made a humorous appeal requesting PM to speak against excessive sugar consumption so that his father would reduce eating sweets.

In the now-viral reel, Yuvraj Dua detailed how his father is a huge fan of the PM. The video quickly went viral for his wit and relatable anecdotes. And even the Prime Minister, who is the most followed world leader on Instagram, too could not resist. He reposted the reel on his account, urging Dua's father to "reduce sugar intake" and "be healthy, be happy".

Yuvraj Dua, who shares humorous takes on everyday life, spoke about his father’s strong admiration for Narendra Modi. “If my father is watching TV, even if a dragon flies overhead, his focus won’t break because of ‘Modi Paglu’,” the influencer joked.

The Prime Minister heeded his request. "On Yuvraj's request, I urge his father (and everyone else out there) to reduce sugar intake...be healthy, be happy," he posted on his Instagram story. In a second story, PM Modi said that too much sugar intake leads to multiple diseases and not to forget obesity. He also urged people to do Yoga.

Yuvraj Dua also reacted to the Prime Minister's message, expressing how amazed he was at a simple video gaining such attention. "Surreal sa hogaya yeh toh. Kahan pohonch gayi video would never have thought. (This has become surreal. The peak the video reached, I would never have thought)," Yuvraj Dua reacted to his reel going viral and getting PM Modi's attention.

Then, in a message to his father, Dua wrote, "Now even Modi ji has said. Please accept it, papa."
