Who is Shruti Sharma? UPSC topper who scored 340 out of 400 points
UPSC declared the 2021 Civil Services Examination result on May 30th, 2022. Shruti Sharma topped the list of the candidates, followed by three other female candidates.

The complete list of all the candidates who made the cut can be found on the official website of UPSC. Six hundred eighty-five candidates are shortlisted for various civil services fields under the Central Government of India, like IAS, IPS, and IFS.
Among these 685 candidates, 244 belong to the General category and 73 Economically Weaker Sections. Other than that, 203 candidates are from Other Backward Class, 105 from Schedules Casts, and 60 from Scheduled Tribe categories. The results of 80 candidates are provisional, while the result of 1 candidate has been withheld due to unknown reasons.
The toppers are selected according to their performance in three rounds of selection conducted by UPSC, namely - Prelims, Mains, and Interview. The prelim exam was held on October 10th, 2021, while the Mains exam was conducted in January. The successful candidates in these two exams went through rigorous interviews from April 5th 2022, to May 26th 2022.
