Manasi Tata will now head Kirloskar Joint Venture Pvt. Ltd. The company announced Mansi Tata, daughter of Late Vikram Kirloskar as the new director on December 27. The appointment comes after the sudden demise of the 4th generation of Kirloskar group, Vikram Kirloskar. His wife Geetanjali has already joined the company as Chairman and MD.

These joint ventures include Denso Kirloskar Industries Pvt Ltd (DNKI), Toyota Material Handling India Pvt Ltd, Toyota Industries Engine India Pvt Ltd, and Kirloskar Toyota Textile Machinery Pvt Ltd (KTTM).

The 5th generation is all set to head the company and take it to the new heights. Tata was the CEO, executive director and managing director of the company. She underwent three-year training at Toyota Kirloskar Motor to learn about technical procedures, manufacturing, Japanese work culture, leading-edge quality control techniques, and commercial operations. She was well groomed by Kirloskar to head the company.


Tata received her degree at the Rhode Island School of Design in the United States. She is a dedicated painter. Her paintings were displayed in exhibitions at a very young age. She is also a passionate swimmer. Tata also owns an NGO ‘Caring with Colour’, that aims to improve the quality of education in Indian schools. The NGO works with many government schools in Karnataka.

Manasi Tata is married to Neville Tata in July 2019, who is the son of Noel Tata and half-brother of Ratan Tata.
