Who is Alexis Wilkins?

Born on November 3, 1999, in Boston, Massachusetts, Alexis Wilkins is a country singer, political commentator, podcast host and writer currently based in Nashville. Wilkins was raised in Europe and Fayetteville, Arkansas, before building her music career in the US country music scene. She began singing at the age of four and released her first song, Higher Than the Mountains, at just eight years old.

According to reports, the two were initially introduced through mutual circles and bonded over public service and patriotism before their friendship gradually turned romantic.

Wilkins later told Megyn Kelly that they first connected at a friend’s house party, where Patel’s honesty immediately stood out to her. “We both are very patriotic, so obviously there are things there that we definitely agree on,” she said.
