Dilpreet Bajwa was born on April 1, 2001, in Born, and his batting style is right-handed. Bajwa’s jersey number is 84. He has played for various domestic teams, including Canada, Montreal Tigers, Seattle Thunderbolts, and Surrey Shines. Bajwa enjoys traveling and working out in his free time.

Dilpreet Bajwa made his international debut in T20 Internationals on September 30, 2023, against Bermuda at Sandys Parish. He later made his One Day International (ODI) debut on February 10, 2024, against Nepal at Kirtipur. In domestic and franchise cricket, he has represented the Canada national cricket team, Montreal Tigers, Seattle Thunderbolts, and Surrey Shines.

Dilpreet Bajwa grew up playing cricket in Punjab, coming through district-level teams and age-group tournaments. His father moved to Canada for business paperwork before the COVID-19 lockdown and that led him to continue his cricketing journey there instead of returning to India. Started playing cricket at age seven, partly to stay away from social issues in border areas, and idolised players like Yuvraj Singh.


Bajwa excelled in Canada’s domestic structure and franchise leagues, playing for teams like the Montreal Tigers in GT20 Canada. In the GT20 Canada tournament, he became the first Canadian to score a century, finishing unbeaten on 100 runs off 55 balls. He has also played in Minor League Cricket in the USA and performed strongly, catching selectors’ attention.

Dilpreet Bajwa captained his district team in India at a young age and has led in domestic cricket in Canada for several years, winning trophies. He emphasises that associate nations like Canada need more consistent exposure and competitive opportunities to bridge the talent gap.
