Who is Cheng Chang Fan? Taiwanese actor sparks buzz after video with Indian woman

A video of Taiwanese actor and model Cheng Chang Fan hugging and twirling with an Indian woman has sparked a buzz on social media, with users speculating about the nature of their relationship. The clip has drawn renewed attention to the pair after Cheng Chang previously posted a video featuring an Indian hotel staff member who had welcomed him with an aarti and tilak.

The actor has since shared another post featuring an Indian woman and written extensively about Indian women, further fuelling speculation that the woman in the latest video could be the same person he met at the hotel.

Neither Cheng Chang nor the woman has publicly confirmed whether they are in a relationship.

From hotel welcome to viral speculation

In 2025, Cheng Chang Fan posted a video showing him looking affectionately at a hotel staff member who welcomed him with a traditional aarti and tilak.

The interaction was warm and brief, but the footage attracted attention online, with viewers pointing to what they described as apparent chemistry between the two. Some users began speculating that the meeting could eventually develop into a romantic relationship.

Around a year later, Cheng Chang shared another video on Instagram Stories, although the post is no longer visible on his account. The footage showed him reconnecting with an Indian woman who some social media users believe could be the same hotel employee.

"And just like that… I flew her across the world, straight into my arms," he wrote alongside the video, prompting further discussion about whether the two were dating.

Cheng Chang also posted photographs with an Indian woman on Instagram, appearing to suggest that she was the same person he had encountered at the hotel.

In a lengthy caption, he praised Indian women and described the warmth and sincerity he associated with them.

"Maybe the most beautiful thing about Indian women isn’t just what you see, but what you feel. They love loudly, care deeply, laugh with their whole hearts, and somehow still carry softness in a world that constantly asks them to be strong. Who is Cheng Chang Fan?

Cheng Chang Fan is a Taiwanese actor and model who reportedly hails from Taipei. He studied at the University of the Arts in London, England, and is also the creator and owner of Cheng & Mach Exotic Florist in Taipei.

He has worked as a fashion model for luxury brands including Dior, Hugo Boss and Burberry.

Cheng Chang is best known for portraying Kyan in the 2020 drama Craving You. He also released a solo single, Ain't Nothing, in 2022.
