The actor, who currently plays the titular character in 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah', married Chandni Kothi. Pictures from their reception gala have emerged online, revealing that the newlyweds had a fantastic time at the wedding.

Who is Chandni Kothi?

Prior to the wedding, Sachin Shroff and his family kept Chandni’s identity a secret and did not reveal anything about her, including her name. According to reports, she is close to Sachin’s sister. He introduced Chandni to the media and fans who work as an event planner and interior designer.



According to reports, when asked about the need for secrecy surrounding Chandni’s identity prior to the wedding, Sachin stated, “I did not keep it a secret. There was no need because everyone would have found out about her eventually. For fun, we referred to her as to-be Mrs. My cousins decided to pique her interest by grandly introducing her at the cocktail party”.


Sachin and Chandni have known each other for quite some time because he had known her for years as his sister’s friend. Sachin further said that they realised they were compatible and decided to go ahead with it.


Sachin was previously married to fellow television personality Juhi Parmar. They married in a palace in Jaipur in February 2009. The couple have a daughter together named Samaira.


Sachin joined the show last year as the new Taarak Mehta after Shailesh Lodha left after fourteen years on the show. The reaction to his appearance on the show was initially mixed, with many fans opposing the recasting of such a pivotal character. However, his portrayal of the character has received positive feedback since then.
