As per reports, the engagement is said to have taken place with full family approval, and a more elaborate ceremony is expected at Ranthambore in Rajasthan soon. The wedding is anticipated to take place in the coming months.
Who Is Aviva Baig?
Reports indicate that Aviva Baig is from Delhi, the daughter of businessman Imran Baig and interior designer Nandita Baig. The two families have maintained a close friendship over the years, with Nandita Baig notably helping Priyanka Gandhi with the interior design of the Congress headquarters, Indira Bhawan. Raihan and Aviva are said to have attended the same school, which only deepened their connection over time.Aviva completed her early education at the prestigious Modern School in Delhi. She later pursued a degree in Media Communication and Journalism from OP Jindal Global University. Following in her mother’s footsteps, she is an interior designer, but her interests extend beyond design.
Aviva is also a photographer and producer, showcasing her work in exhibitions such as You Cannot Miss This at the India Art Fair in 2023 and The Illusory World in 2019.
Who Is Raihan Vadra?
Raihan Vadra was educated at the Doon School in Dehradun, following the footsteps of his grandfather Rajiv Gandhi and uncle Rahul Gandhi. He later attended the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London, specialising in politics.Raihan has been a passionate visual artist since childhood. His photography spans wildlife, street, and commercial genres. In 2021, he held his first solo exhibition, Dark Perception, at Bikaner House in New Delhi. The exhibition explored imaginative freedom, shaped by his personal experiences, including an eye injury sustained during a school cricket match in 2017.
Raihan explained to NDTV, “I started to do a lot of black and white shoots after my eye accident; it changed the way I perceive things. I use darkness to seek light.” Photography has been a lifelong passion, encouraged by his mother, with inspiration drawn from his grandfather Rajiv Gandhi’s works.
