The discovery of a rare albino deer in Katarniya Ghat Wildlife Sanctuary in Uttar Pradesh, India, stunned and delighted internet users. The Indian Forest Service officer, Akash Deep Badhawan, shared an image of the white deer on Twitter, where it soon received close to 400 likes and several comments.

Badhawan shared a viral photo and mentioned that an albino spotted deer fawn had been sighted that morning, stating that it was true to the tagline of Katarniaghat, which is "Where rare is common."



As the IFS officer showcased a photograph featuring a remarkable sighting in Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary on March 9, he duly credited Pulkit Gulati, who is a member of the Gharial Conservation Team, for capturing the image of the elusive animal.
