When is the last application date for UGC NET December 2021, June 2022 cycles?

UGC NET, or the National Eligibility Test of the University Grants Commission, is held twice a year, once in June and once in December. But last year, it didn’t happen in December. Thus, this year, it has merged with the June exam, and for that, registration windows are extended till 30th May 2022. So, all the aspirants who have not filled the form but want to appear for it can do this now. For that, you need to log on to ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

The window for applying for the UGC NET was closed earlier as the last date of application was 20th May 2022. But the officials opened it again on 24th May 2022. And, if any aspirant has made any mistake on the application form, they will get a chance to correct the same between 31st May and 9 pm on 1st June.

For making the corrections, according to Annexure-1, in their application form, all the candidates have to log on to the ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The United Gram Commission officials, said this. And make sure to correct all the wrong particulars either on 31st May 2022 or on 1st June 2022 till 9 pm. After 9 pm on 1st June, all the windows will be closed, and no candidates can avail their form again for making any corrections.


So, now note the steps following which you can apply for the UGC NET. First, go to the site - ugcnet.nta.nic.in. A tab, Registration, is there on the homepage itself. Open it and fill it out properly after reading each point. Once you finish the fill-up, pay the fees for registration. Now all are done. Just download the receipt and keep it with you if you need the same in the future. And start preparing for the exam to pass it with flying colors.
