The movie's trailer sparked comparisons from cinema enthusiasts to Mani Ratnam's high-budget production, Ponniyin Selvan, or better known as PS, which was released in two installments.

The captivating trailer, directed by Dharani Rajendran, left audiences wondering what could have been achieved with the support of a major production company. Intriguingly, the film was released a week prior to the second installment of Ponniyin Selvan.
