WhatsApp's stunning 3D ad in London leaves many impressed
WhatsApp this week launched a 3D billboard at Piccadilly in London to highlight its privacy features. A video clip of the ad is a hit online

The video of the ad shared online shows it evolving from the facade of the surrounding buildings. People at different floors all shut the windows and it evolves into a vacant place encased by steel shutters. A WhatsApp voice note then goes into a heavy steel safe - implying your messages are safely encrypted.
On Twitter, it was shared by social media consultant Matt Navarra. "This is @WhatsApp’s wild new ad in Piccadilly Circus, London watch to the end,” he wrote.

"Amazing animation. Is this the future of space advertising?" wrote a user about the 3D animation.

@MattNavarra @benedictevans @WhatsApp Uncool companies need cool advertisements. This is certainly a cool ad!
