WhatsApp to launch an iPad Version soon

WhatsApp is one of the most popular apps throughout the world, and many of us use it on a regular basis. For many years, iPad users have demanded WhatsApp release a separate app that can function well on iPad devices. But the company has not launched any app linked to this request.

In the past, the company was seen working and testing an iPad app, but it never made it out to the market as it was never finalized. Now, WhatsApp is working on a Multi-device 2.0, which will have the ability to support the iPad.

Sharing a screenshot regarding the iPad version, the website stated that in the future, with the help of Multi-device 2.0, people will be able to link an additional iPad or Android tablet along with a phone to the same WhatsApp account.

What is WhatsApp's Multi-device feature?
WhatsApp's multi-device support is designed to allow users to log in to a single account from four separate devices. But the company still doesn't allow its users to log in to the same account from two different cell phones. Multi-device will enable users to have the same functions available on the Web, Portal, and Desktop versions of the app without connecting the phone. In the future, it will most likely provide support to other kinds of devices.

However, it isn't sure whether the iPad WhatsApp version will have functions similar to the desktop and the phone WhatsApp. Another thing is that the current WhatsApp isn't optimized to be used on tablet devices, but a mobile version of the app can be downloaded from the Play Store or App Store.

WhatsApp is also working on a macOS version alongside the iPad version.
