WhatsApp Desktop version notification glitch resolved
WhatsApp is making serious efforts toward making the experience of using the app smoother for Desktop users.

Earlier, most people used WhatsApp on their mobile devices. However, now a large number of individuals, especially those working in a professional setup, prefer using it on their laptop or computer system. So, when a bug appears in the desktop version of the app, it results in a loss of productivity and several other issues.
Because of this bug, users were not getting notifications sent from a desktop client. The issue persisted for quite some time and this resulted in the users suffering from a lot of inconveniences. The WhatsApp Desktop beta 2.2219.2 update was launched to fix this issue.
Beta testers are receiving alerts from time to time and have confirmed that the issue has been fixed for good. This particular patch will also be rolled out to the stable version that features build number 2.2218.8. If somebody continues to face the aforementioned issue, they should update WhatsApp to the latest version.
WhatsApp has informed the users that they can also try out the Beta version if upgrading to the latest version doesn’t help. Ever since the beta version has been launched, it has largely remained bug-free. Therefore, it would be a safe option to try out.
For automatic albums, WhatsApp is planning to launch a broad reply information feature. The beta testers are now checking its different aspects and functionality. While this particular feature was earlier being tested by iOS beta testers, it is now being tried out by Android beta testers.
