What's next for Rahul Dravid? He jokes about playing himself in a biopic
Rahul Dravid, having concluded his tenure as India's chief coach, appeared relaxed and engaging at the recent CEAT awards. Reflecting on his career, he humorously invited the audience to email him career advice. Dravid led India to a T20 World Cup...

"The beauty of functions like this and the beauty of awards like this is that when they put up these videos, they show just the lovely things that you have done on the cricket field," said Dravid, emphasizing the thrill and challenges of the game.
"The honest fact, and that is the truth, is that you are failing a lot more than you are succeeding in this game. But that's what makes it so much more fun, so much more enjoyable."
Dravid's tenure as the chief coach of India concluded after he led the team to victory in the T20 World Cup earlier this year, which was co-hosted by the US and the West Indies. India triumphed over South Africa in a nail-biting final, winning by seven runs. Known for his calm demeanor and preference for working quietly behind the scenes, Dravid was visibly emotional as the team handed him the trophy.
"When you have moments like that, I try and avoid showing that to my children, thinking I've gone mad or something," Dravid said with a smile.
"Thank god, that was my last game. Otherwise, after that they would have said 'you are saying one thing but you are doing something else (smiles)'," he joked.
The event's anchor then opened the floor for career advice for Dravid from the audience. One attendee shouted "Indiranagar ka gunda," a reference to a viral advertisement Dravid starred in, where he shouts those words aggressively.
"That was so embarrassing to do for 30 seconds. I was like no way, I can't do any form of acting...It was so difficult to do. So that's not my skill. But yes, any career advice, I will send you my email, any thoughts, send to me," Dravid said, eliciting laughter from the audience.
The anchor then humorously questioned Dravid, "Who would play you in a biopic, Rahul?"
During his coaching stint with the senior Indian team, Dravid steered the team to several important finals, including the World Test Championship (WTC) final, the ODI World Cup, and the T20 World Cup. Although India fell short in the WTC and ODI World Cup finals, both times to Australia, they succeeded in securing the T20 World Cup title under his guidance.
