What Tessa Thompson said about Valkyrie-Captain Marvel romance

Tessa Thompson, who plays Valkyrie in the Marvel superhero film "Thor: Love and Thunder", has said that she open to exploring the possibility of a romantic relationship between Valkyrie and the Captain Marvel.

"I, you know, the heart wants what it wants. I don't...I can't speak yet to Val. She hasn't had a ton of time to focus too squarely on her love life since she's been besought with a lot of kingly duties," she said while speaking to a popular Bollywood website Pinkvilla.

"But there are a lot of amazing men, women, other wordly creatures inside of the MCU and certainly in the canon of characters that could enter the MCU. So, I think there's so many fish in the sea. She's single. She's ready to mingle. And I love, both in the comics, Carol and I...Brie Larson is a good friend of mine and I love spending time with her. So, I wouldn't be mad at it, for sure," she further said.


"Thor: Love and Thunder" released in India on July 7.

The sequel to "Thor: Ragnarok" is helmed by acclaimed actor and director Taika Waititi. It stars Chris Hemsworth, Christian Bale Natalie Portman, and Russel Crowe in key roles. It is the 29th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Hemsworth was reportedly paid USD 20 million (about Rs 150 crore) to play the lead in "Thor: Love and Thunder".

The movie "Thor: Love and Thunder" has received many amazing reviews so far. Richard Nebens of The Direct has called the movie one of the greatest films in MCU.
