Kangana Ranaut, known for her iconic performances in 'Queen' and 'Gangster', once revealed she tried to flirt with 'Dhurandhar' star Akshaye Khanna but received no response. In a re-surfaced clip from Karan Johar's famous talk show 'Koffee with Karan', Kangana Ranaut shared a fun anecdote about her co-star Akshaye Khanna, revealing she once tried to flirt with him during their time working together on No Problem. The clip has now gone viral on social media.

The story came up during a fun segment of the show featuring Kangana alongside industry veterans Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt. During a light-hearted and candid conversation, filmmaker host Karan Johar asked her if Kangana Ranaut had ever tried flirting with someone who paid no attention to her.

Kangana promptly named Akshaye Khanna. “I tried to talk to him, but he never spoke to me. He doesn’t talk — he doesn’t talk to anybody,” she said. Adding a humorous note, Anil Kapoor chimed in, “Yeah, she told me, ‘Yaar, yeh dekhta hi nahi hai meri taraf’ (he doesn’t even look at me).”



The revelation amused both the audience and the guests and the confession has gained renewed attention amid Akshaye Khanna’s recent surge in popularity following the success of Dhurandhar, where he impressed audiences with his intense performance.

Kangana and Akshaye Khanna's past collaboration

Kangana and Akshaye shared screen space in ‘No Problem’. The movie is directed by Anees Bazmee and backed by Rajat Rawail and Anil Kapoor. The ensemble cast included, Paresh Rawal, Suniel Shetty, Sushmita Sen, Neetu Chandra and Shakti Kapoor.

Akshaye Khanna has been experiencing a resurgence in popularity after his performance in Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar. Yet, he seems largely unaffected by the attention. Several co-stars have shared that he speaks very little on set and often remains immersed in his own world. His upcoming project is with Sunny Deol in Netflix’s ‘Ikka’, directed by Siddharth P. Malhotra and written by Althea Kaushal and Mayank Tewari. He will re-unite with his Border co-star after 29 years. The actor is also set to make his Telugu debut with the PVCU film Mahakali. In the film, Akshaye will play Shukracharya.

On the other hand, Kangana Ranaut last appeared in Emergency. She played former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in her self-directed project. She now focuses on politics as a BJP MP.
