North Bengal is expected to witness active monsoon conditions throughout the week, with light to moderate rain forecast in all districts from August 1 to 7. The IMD has issued heavy to very heavy rainfall warnings for Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri, Alipurduar, Kalimpong and Cooch Behar on multiple days between August 1 and 5.
