Weather Tomorrow June 30
Amid scorching heat and widespread rainfall across the country, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a broad alert for June 30. The weather agency has predicted strong monsoon activity over several regions, with heavy to very heavy rainfall expected across Northwest, Central, East, and Northeast India.

Heavy to Very Heavy Rainfall Alert

According to the IMD, heavy to very heavy downpours are expected in multiple regions. Rainfall intensity may vary, but some areas could witness continuous and intense precipitation during the day.

Regions Likely to Be Affected

East & West Madhya Pradesh: Isolated Heavy Rain Expected

Isolated pockets of heavy rainfall are likely across East and West Madhya Pradesh. The IMD has also warned of thunderstorms and lightning activity, which may affect local conditions intermittently.

Jharkhand & Odisha: Widespread Rainfall Likely
Jharkhand and Odisha are expected to receive fairly widespread to widespread rainfall. Some areas in both states may also experience isolated heavy showers, leading to short but intense wet spells.

Northeast India: Continuous Heavy Rain Activity

States such as Assam, Meghalaya, and Arunachal Pradesh are forecast to receive regular heavy rainfall. Persistent monsoon activity is likely to keep conditions wet and cloudy across the region.

Thunderstorms & Gusty Winds Likely

Along with rainfall, several areas may also witness thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds, especially during peak monsoon bursts. Outdoor conditions could become unstable in affected regions.

Delhi-NCR Weather Today

Delhi-NCR experienced warm and humid conditions on Monday morning as residents continued to struggle with uncomfortable weather due to the delayed monsoon. However, relief may be on the way, as cloudy skies and intermittent spells of rain are expected in parts of the region, which could help bring down temperatures temporarily.

Monsoon Strengthening Across the Country

The IMD has highlighted that monsoon systems are becoming more active over North and Central India. This strengthening trend is contributing to widespread rainfall and cloudy conditions.
