Several parts of India are likely to witness rain, thunderstorms and gusty winds on Friday, July 24, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). While heavy rainfall is expected in parts of western, northern and northeastern India, many major cities are also likely to experience cloudy skies and showers.

Here's a city-wise look at what the weather is expected to be like tomorrow.

Mumbai weather tomorrow

Mumbai is likely to remain cloudy with spells of rain on July 24. The IMD has forecast continued rainfall across Konkan and Goa, with isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall in the region over the next few days. Commuters may experience waterlogging and traffic delays in low-lying areas.

Pune weather tomorrow

Pune is expected to witness cloudy skies with light to moderate rain. Madhya Maharashtra is likely to receive fairly widespread rainfall, with isolated heavy showers possible in some areas.

Ahmedabad weather tomorrow

Ahmedabad is likely to experience cloudy weather with intermittent rain. The IMD has forecast heavy rainfall at isolated places across the Gujarat region, with residents advised to stay updated on local weather warnings.

Delhi weather tomorrow

Delhi is expected to see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with light rain or thunderstorms at isolated places. While widespread heavy rainfall is not forecast for the Capital on July 24, changing weather conditions may bring brief showers and gusty winds.

Bengaluru weather tomorrow

Bengaluru is likely to remain cloudy with light to moderate rain. Parts of Karnataka are expected to receive scattered rainfall, while coastal areas may witness heavier showers.

Hyderabad weather tomorrow

Hyderabad is expected to witness cloudy skies with light rain or thunderstorms. The IMD has also forecast gusty winds over Telangana during the coming days.

Chennai weather tomorrow

Chennai is likely to experience partly cloudy skies with isolated light showers. Thunderstorms and gusty winds are also possible in parts of Tamil Nadu.

Kolkata weather tomorrow

Kolkata is expected to remain cloudy with chances of rain. Gangetic West Bengal is likely to receive fairly widespread rainfall, with isolated heavy showers in some districts.

Jaipur weather tomorrow

Jaipur is likely to witness rain and thunderstorms, with heavy rainfall possible in parts of Rajasthan. The IMD has warned of heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places across East Rajasthan.

Lucknow weather tomorrow

Lucknow is expected to experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rain. Rainfall activity is likely to increase across Uttar Pradesh in the coming days.

Bhopal weather tomorrow

Bhopal is likely to receive light to moderate rainfall, with heavy showers possible in isolated parts of Madhya Pradesh.

Patna weather tomorrow

Patna is expected to witness cloudy skies with spells of rain, as Bihar remains under the influence of active monsoon conditions.

Guwahati weather tomorrow

Guwahati is likely to experience frequent showers, with heavy rainfall forecast for parts of Assam and Meghalaya.

Kochi weather tomorrow

Kochi is expected to remain cloudy with intermittent rain. Kerala is likely to continue receiving widespread monsoon rainfall.

Goa weather tomorrow

Goa is likely to witness moderate to heavy rainfall, with the IMD forecasting isolated heavy showers across Konkan and Goa.

IMD weather alert for July 24

The IMD has forecast:

• Heavy rainfall over parts of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, Bihar, Assam, Meghalaya and Coastal Karnataka.
• Thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds over Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Odisha and several northeastern states.
• Strong surface winds over Coastal Karnataka, Telangana and parts of Andhra Pradesh.

Residents are advised to monitor local weather updates and follow advisories issued by the IMD and state authorities, especially in areas prone to heavy rainfall.
