Several parts of India are likely to experience rainfall, thunderstorms and lightning between October 1 and 7, according to the latest weather forecast. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast isolated to scattered rainfall across multiple states, while some areas are expected to receive heavy or very heavy rainfall. Thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds are also likely in parts of the country during the period.
