‘We will kill you’: Bishnoi gang member warns those working with Salman Khan, claims responsibility for Kapil Sharma’s cafe attack

Kapil Sharma’s restaurant in Surrey, Canada, has been attacked twice in less than a month. According to an audio clip reported by India Today, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed the shootings were linked to Kapil inviting Salman Khan to the launch of The Great Indian Kapil Show.

The audio features Bishnoi gang member Harry Boxer, who says, “The first and now second firing at Kapil Sharma's restaurant happened because he had invited Salman Khan to the inauguration on a Netflix show.” Salman Khan appeared in the first episode of season 3, which premiered on June 21.

In the same clip, Harry Boxer warns others in the industry against working with the Bollywood actor. “If anyone works with Salman, whether a small-time actor or a small-time director, we will not spare anyone. We will kill them. We will go to any extent necessary to kill them,” he says.

Second attack at Kap’s Cafe

On Thursday, Kapil Sharma’s Kap’s Cafe in Surrey came under fire for the second time. As per the report, about 25 shots were fired, shattering windows, but there were no injuries. Goldy Dhillon, a Bishnoi gang member wanted by Punjab Police and the NIA, later claimed responsibility on social media. Security officials believe Dhillon is currently in Germany and faces multiple cases of extortion and murder in Punjab.

The restaurant was also targeted on July 10. That attack was claimed by Harjit Singh Laddi, a fugitive member of Babbar Khalsa International (BKI). He alleged it was in response to derogatory remarks Kapil Sharma made about Nihang Sikhs.
