Nearly 90,000 Candidates Clear Preliminary Exam

According to official data, 89,821 candidates have successfully qualified in the Part-I (preliminary) stage of the WBPSC Clerkship Examination. These candidates are now eligible to appear for the Part-II examination, which will play a crucial role in determining the final merit list.

The preliminary computer-based test was held on November 16 and 17, 2024, across multiple examination centers throughout the state. The WBPSC has also published the category-wise cut-off list for the preliminary stage:

• OBC-A: 48 marks

• ST: 29 marks
