WBJEE 2025 result releasing today: Direct link, steps to download scorecard

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) is all set to announce the WBJEE 2025 result today, 7 August. Students who appeared for the entrance exam can check their results online by visiting the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in.

Exam Held in April, Result Delayed

The WBJEE 2025 exam was held on 27 April, but the result was delayed by more than three months. The delay happened due to ongoing legal issues related to the revised list of OBC sub-castes in the state.

Speaking at a press conference, WBJEEB Chairperson Sonali Chakraborty Banerjee said, “The examinations were conducted on April 27. By June 5, the results would have been declared. However, owing to the OBC matter, the result couldn't be released.”


The provisional answer key was published on 9 May, and candidates had time until 11 May to raise objections.

• Visit the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in
• Click on the ‘WBJEE 2025 Result’ link on the homepage
• Enter your admit card or hall ticket number
• Click on ‘Submit’ to view your score
• Download and save the scorecard for future reference

What Time Will the Result Be Released?

While the board has confirmed that the result will be out today, they haven’t mentioned the exact time. Last year, the WBJEE results were announced at 3 PM, and the direct link was activated an hour later at 4 PM.
