Watch: Virat Kohli hits the nets in Mohali, makes intentions clear
The Punjab Cricket Association tweeted a video of Kohli at the nets in Mohali practicing his shots

The Punjab Cricket Association tweeted a video of Kohli at the nets practicing his shots, in which he can be seen driving the quicker bowlers and stepping out to the spinners.
Reports said he also faced a barrage a short-pitched deliveries in the nets, which is quite understandable considering that is what will be served often in the upcoming World Cup matches in the bouncier tracks of Australia.'
Kohli looked to be in fine nick and his recent return to form has brought the spring back to his step.
"An absolute treat Watch @imVkohli dedicatedly practicing his shots in the nets today during practice session," PCA captioned the post.

— Punjab Cricket Association (@pcacricket) 1663497916000After going without a century for three years, Virat Kohli found his touch during the recently concluded Asia Cup 2022, in which he finished as the second-highest run scorer in the tournament, and also scored his much anticipated 71st international ton.
Kohli scored 276 runs in five matches at an average of 92.00 with one century - against Afghanistan in a dead rubber Super 4 game - and two half-centuries. It looked the star player was getting back his form
The century against Afghanistan came when Kohli opened the innings, and captain Rohit Sharma has since suggested that Kohli could be team's back-up opener in the T20I matches ahead.
All eyes are on this three-match T20I series against Australia and another home series against South Africa, starting from October 28, consisting of three ODIs and three T20Is.
These will give the players quality match practice ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022, which will go on from October 16 to November 13 this year.
