Watch: Virat Kohli drops Cameron Green, but redeems himself with this throw
Virat Kohli dropped Cameron Green, but a ball later redeemed himself by running out the big-hitting Aussie.

In the second T20I match between India and Australia in Nagpur on Friday night Kohli dropped a catch of big-hitter Cameron Green. That was the first ball of the second over of the innings bowled by leftarm spinner Axar Patel. Green hit it high up in the air towards the sightscreen, and Kohli, running in a lot of distance from long-on, managed to get both hands to the ball but spilled it.
It wasn't an easy catch by any stretch of imagination, many fielders wouldn't have even reached there, but Kohli is not known to put down even difficult ones. It went for four, and if anyone started thinking of the carnage Green caused in the first T20I in Mohali, it was shortlived. One ball later, Green drove Axar to mid-on and set off for a quick single, but Kohli charged in, picked it up one-handed, and still on the run flicked a throw to Axar who removed the bails in a flash to catch Green short of his crease. It was a stunning throw that made up for the dropped catch.

— BCCI (@BCCI) 1663949547000Australia managed 90 for 5 India in the rain-curtailed 8-overs-a-side second T20I to clinch the match and remain alive in the three-match series, and India chased that down with four balls to spare.
India skipper Rohit Sharma smashed four sixes and as many fours in an unbeaten 46 as he single-handedly helped India chase down the target of 91 set by the Aussies.
Virat Kohli (11 of 6 balls) couldn't do much with the bat, though he picked up a boundary off Daniel Sams and smacked one over Adam Zampa's head for another four. However, the spinner won the battle of wits as his quicker delivery beat Kohli and dislodged the stumps.
With the T20I series now tied 1-1, the third and final match will be played in Hyderabad on Sunday.
