One of the videos showed Dhanush walking ahead as his sons followed closely behind while exiting the temple after offering prayers. As fans gathered around the actor to take selfies, Yatra and Linga were seen shielding their father from the crowd as they made their way out. For the visit, Dhanush and his sons were dressed in silk dhotis and angavastrams.
Dhanush has two sons from his marriage to Aishwarya Rajinikanth. The elder son, Yatra Raja, was born on October 10, 2006, and is said to be an aspiring cinematographer. Linga is the younger son, and both are often seen accompanying the actor during public appearances.
Dhanush and Aishwarya Rajinikanth, daughter of superstar Rajinikanth, parted ways in 2022 after 18 years of marriage but continue to co-parent their sons. Announcing their separation in a post on X on January 17, 2022, Dhanush wrote, “18 years of togetherness as friends, couple, as parents and well-wishers to each other. The journey has been one of growth, understanding, adjustment and adaptation. Today, we stand at a place where our paths separate.”
