Watch: Ukrainian soldier fiddles on the frontlines, the music is touching

Everyone gives of their best. That's how the war effort has been in Ukraine which has been fighting off an attack by Russian troops since February 24.

Among those enlisted in the Ukraine army is a street musician by the name of Moisey Bondarenko. A tweet shared by Anton Gerashchenko, the Advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, showed Bondarenko playing his violin in an open field on the frontlines.

“Street musician Moisey Bondarenko, who now serves in the Army, plays his violin right on the frontlines. Just listen to how incredible it sounds!” read the caption.

The video is going viral on Twitter with many commenting how moving his melody is

"Absolutely beautiful. Absolutely haunting. Absolutely sad. That someone with this amazing talent is standing in his defenders uniform playing his music instead of being in an orchestra somewhere in Ukraine. What talent. Please survive and play again when Ukraine is free," said his comment.

Others wanted to know the name of the beautiful song he was playing.

Meanwhile on Saturday, Russian forces launched new strikes on Ukrainian cities Saturday, Reuters reported, as Kremlin-backed votes continued in occupied regions of Ukraine to pave the way for their annexation by Moscow.

Zaporizhzhia Gov. Oleksandr Starukh said the Russians targeted infrastructure facilities in the Dnieper River city, and one of the missiles hit an apartment building, killing one person and injuring seven others.

The Russian forces also struck other areas in Ukraine, damaging residential buildings and civilian infrastructure.
