Watch three customers beating a waiter over Chicken Biryani in a Noida restaurant

A video of a customer mercilessly beating a restaurant employee in Noida has gone viral on the social media. As per reports, the incident happened in Zauk restaurant at Ansal Plaza Mall in Noida on November 9, at around 10:30 pm, when an angry customer thrashed a waiter of the restaurant after he told him that the biryani is out for order.

In a CCTV video three men can be seen sitting at the restaurant table, waiting for their order to arrive. Suddenly, one customer gets up from his seat and starts thrashing the restaurant employee, who was taking order on the computer terminal. The incident was captured in the CCTV camera.

As per police report, the accused started fighting as they believed that biryani got over because he was too late in taking their order. "The accused had placed the order for biryani and were waiting for it, but later the waiter came and told them that it over," police said.


In the CCTV video a man can be seen grabbing the waiter by his neck and dragging him across the floor. Later in the video three men can also be seen outside the video continuously kicking and thrashing him.


As per Noida police, three men have been arrested. "The accused were identified through the CCTV footage later as Manoj, Pravesh, and Krish - all residents of Dadri area, and were arrested Thursday," a police official said.

On the basis of a complaint from the waiter, the three were booked under Indian Penal Code sections 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) and 147 (rioting), police said.
